Remember that part in the Goonies when they go looking for the treasure? Well, imagine that you are Diageo, and while you weren't really looking for treasure, you somehow found it. Here, the haul isn't a pirate ship filled with treasure, but a warehouse filled with barrels of whiskey. Really old whiskey.
Diageo has now released this treasure of bourbon back to you. If you’re not looking to spend all of your doubloons, this 20 year old aged whiskey, the cheapest in the series, is the perfect pick. The barrels were found in an old Stitzel-Weller warehouse that was founded by Pappy Van Winkle -- yes, that Pappy Van Winkle. The final product is sent over to the George Dickel Distillery in Tennessee to be bottled. This is a really great aged Kentucky bourbon and a fair price for 20 years of expert maturation.
